In an article published in the Spring 2021 issue of The Hymn: A Journal of Congregational Song, liturgical scholar, musician and composer Jan Michael Joncas takes a close look at a memorandum on hymn texts sent to members of the U.S. Catholic Conference of Catholic Bishops in December 2020 by the Chair of their Committee on Doctrine.
